UPDATE: Re-opening Wed, 1/18

Dear JPMAA Members:

Good news! The cleaning crew came back and checked the walls, and said we’re good to go! We’re spending Tuesday afternoon putting the school back together and cleaning.

We will reopen for classes on Wednesday, January 18:
4:30 Kids Karate
5:30 Kobudo
6:30 Adult / Advanced Karate

We invite all of our members to come in for a few extra classes to make up classes missed while we have been closed.

And – Yoga with Rita returns this Saturday 1/21 at 9:30! Free for members, $10 drop-in for non-members.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and your continued support.

***************

A burst pipe in the business next door has caused flooding in our space and we have to CLOSE this week, from (today) Tuesday 1/10 through the completion of the cleanup.

If all looks good, hopefully we can reopen as soon as Wednesday 1/18 or Thursday 1/19.

A significant amount of water got under several of the mats – fortunately they are fine. David and Lucy went in this morning and moved all equipment and mats out of the way in order for the crew to come in with wet vacs and fans. We have been told by JPNDC that this may take some time to completely dry out the affected areas.

We apologize for the inconvenience, especially since we are really just getting back to training after the holiday. As always, please feel free to make up classes / take any extra classes to make up for what you miss.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We will keep you updated!
